NATURAL + DISTURBED SYSTEMS

The protection, repair and enhancement of natural systems is a core component of our services, and the understanding of natural systems is, in part, the secret behind the Syrinx approach.

The Natural Ecology field has us active in undertaking flora and fauna survey work, developing biodiversity strategies, developing and applying bioengineering methods for slope stabilization, weed control, rehabilitation and restoration works. They are also active in developing completion plans for various groups to restore and protect biodiversity and geodiversity values into perpetuity.

Our skills are used by the mining industry, government agencies and private sector. We are recognised as expert restoration ecologists nationally and internationally. Our work is focused on creating diversity, designing in long-term resilience and minimising long-term intervention and risks. The Natural Ecology group comprises botanists, ecologists, restoration specialists and environmental scientists.
