We are an ideas-driven firm, operating out of offices in Perth and Melbourne, with a team of over 30 staff members. These include Sustainability Consultants, Environmental and Health Scientists, Consultation Specialists, Environmental Engineers, Landscape Engineers, Botanists, Horticulturists, Landscape Architects, Urban Designers and Architects.

 

Drawing on our national and international resources, we offer a full range of environmental and design services, whilst maintaining our local context and alliances. We have the capacity and resources to address many scales of projects, providing a comprehensive approach throughout the project life-cycle.

Dr Kathy Meney
Director | Principal Scientist

Kathy is the Founder and Sole Director of Syrinx. She is an internationally renowned systems ecologist with extensive experience in sustainable design, integrated resource management, restoration ecology, environmental remediation and ecological engineering.

 

Andrew Mack
General Manager | Environmental Principal
Andrew is an Environmental Principal and the General Manager of Syrinx and supports its teams in a technical and managerial capacity. He has a broad breadth of knowledge across a range of industries and their associated environmental management and planning requirements.

 

Thomas Schwarten
Business Development Manager – East Coast | Restoration Principal
Thomas is the East Coast Business Development Manager for Syrinx and a Restoration Principal. Thomas has many years of on-ground expertise in the restoration of bushland, wetland, foreshore and coastal ecosystems. He has extensive experience in plant propagation, weed control, habitat creation, horticultural and restoration design.
